Tern TV Secures Access into the Hidden World of Scotland’s Show People for BBC Mini-series

Tern TV have been commissioned by BBC Scotland to produce a six-part fly on the wall mini-series showcasing the lives – at work, home, and everywhere in between – of Scotland’s Show People.

The Show People: Licenced To Thrill – which is due to TX in 2025 – will follow Show People throughout their busy summer season, capturing the highs and lows of daily life as they travel across the country.

Tony Nellany, Commissioner for BBC Scotland, said: “Many people will be familiar with ‘the shows’ and fairground rides that travel around Scotland throughout the year. Our aim with this series is to provide an insight into the lives of the families who bring the fun and excitement of the fair as they hit the road with their cavalcade of rides heading from town to town. It is a close-knit community, and this will be a window into their lives at home and on the road.”
