Norma Percy & Lucy Hetherington in conversation with Nina Hossain at Sheffield DocFest

We’re pleased to announce that Norma Percy and Lucy Hetherington, the award-winning documentary producers who head our renowned Brook Lapping label, will be taking part at this year’s Sheffield DocFest in conversation with Nina Hossain.

One of the most influential political documentarians of our time, Norma has spent four decades redefining how world events are captured on screen. The driving force behind series including The Death of Yugoslavia, Putin vs the West, and Israel and the Palestinians: The Road to 7th October, she’s brought audiences face-to-face with global leaders and revealed the power struggles shaping our world.

In her role as Executive Producer, Lucy has worked with Norma on several series, taking the helm of many legally and editorially sensitive award-winning projects across factual programmes including Current Affairs and delivering landmark projects for the BBC.

In this wide-ranging conversation with Nina Hossain, one of Britain’s most prominent news journalists, Norma and Lucy will share insights into how they bring world-shaping political stories to life on screen amidst the challenges of a fractured media landscape in our rapidly changing world.
