Brook Lapping Live Aid Doc Featured in Variety, Deadline, Radio Times and more
To commemorate its 40th Anniversary, Brook Lapping, in association with Ronachan Films, will reveal the story behind Live Aid for the BBC and CNN.
The series will tell the definitive story of how two rockstars inspired the largest global music event in history and revolutionised international aid for a generation. It will delve deep into the complex, sometimes controversial, stories behind Live Aid and explore its legacy in Britain, the US, Ethiopia, and Africa as a whole.
It features interviews from the likes of Bob Geldof, Bono, and Sting, along with US President George W. Bush, President Obasanjo of Nigeria, and Birhan Woldu.
In addition to the documentary series, Brook Lapping are producing Live Aid the Concert (w/t) for BBC Two, giving viewers a chance to relive over 6.5 hours of extended highlights from the London and Philadelphia concert for the first time since 1985, along with backstage footage and interviews.
It has been featured in Variety, Deadline, Radio Times, The Standard, Broadcast, Televisual, Realscreen, and World Screen.
