Watergate by Brook Lapping is The Guardian & The i’s ‘Pick of the day’

Today marks 50 years since President Nixon resigned in order to avoid prosecution for the Watergate scandal – becoming the only American President to ever do so.

In light of the occasion, BBC4 will play host to a night of related coverage kicking off at 8pm with a Brook Lapping production from 1994 – the first episode of the Watergate series.

The episode has been chosen as ‘pick of the day’ in the Guardian and the i, and will be followed by the feature film All the President’s Men and Amol Rajan’s interview about Watergate and Trump.
