After 17 seasons as one of the Middle East’s most recognisable Arabic originals, Stars of Science returns rebuilt from the ground up, with a new format, a state-of-the-art virtual studio and an all-new line-up of experts and host.

Forty innovators from across the Arab world and its diaspora bring their inventions into the studio, where they must pitch their ideas to a panel of experts and prove they have the potential to make a real-world impact. Each contestant’s story is also explored through a short film revealing the person behind the idea: the problem they’re solving, the community they come from and what’s at stake if they succeed.

Those who impress the panel progress through a series of heats, semi-finals and a final, developing and refining their inventions along the way with expert guidance and mentorship. From medical breakthroughs to clean-tech and design, every idea is challenged, tested and pushed further before the strongest innovators compete to be crowned the winners.

Big, glossy and built for the whole family, the new Stars of Science combines the jeopardy of a studio competition with inspiring human stories and genuine innovation. Brand-new episodes are in production now for delivery in December 2026.
