Live Aid at 40: When Rock’n’Roll Took on the World – Screening at BAFTA

We had the privilege of hosting a preview screening of Live Aid at 40: When Rock’n’Roll Took on the World, from Brook Lapping in association with Ronachan Films, at BAFTA.

Following the screening, we were joined by Bob Geldof in conversation with Maryam Moshiri for a deep dive into his motivations, experiences, and challenges over the last 40 years.

It is an honour to be part of the anniversary celebrations for this era defining event, which revolutionised global aid for a generation. Thank you to everyone who came and joined us to reflect on the achievements and sometimes controversial legacy of Live Aid.

Live Aid at 40: When Rock’n’Roll Took on the World will air on BBC Two on Sunday, 6 July, at 9pm, and will be available to stream on iPlayer.

It will also air on CNN on Sunday, 13 July, at 9pm.
